ZIGPOS integrates LEGIC Security Platform in their UWB RTLS solution

The innovative Dresden-based RTLS (Real-Time Locating System) company ZIGPOS (www.zigpos.com) provides highly accurate positioning technology for IoT applications. ZIGPOS systems are designed for tracking large numbers of tagged objects via an extremely simple set up procedure that can be easily configured by the user.

“With LEGIC’s technology, our enhanced Real-Time Locating System (RTLS) solution is now enabled with ‘Root-of-trust’ capabilities as well as crucial security and scalable operator and user rights management,” said Erik Mademann, CEO of ZIGPOS, “This includes identification, localization, tracking and control of smart objects.“

“The integration of LEGIC’s Security Platform into ZIGPOS’ Ultra-Wideband (UWB) RTLS portfolio  is a crucial milestone for our Industrial IoT offering” said Rainer Troester, Director Business Unit Industrial IoT at LEGIC, “This is a prime example of how our IIoT security platform can add significant value to our customer’s solutions in terms of security and management of users and objects in business and industrial environments.”

ZIGPOS’ RTLS solutions enable secure tracking of people and objects making logistics and production more efficient and reliable. Having LEGIC security inside the new “IoT badge”, ZIGPOS will demonstrate a first prototype at embedded world 2020 in Nuremberg at LEGIC booth #3-538 in hall 3.
