LEGIC is currently progressing the integration of the Aliro standard across its platform, reinforcing its strategy to support interoperability with all major access technologies. As part of this effort, LEGIC will ensure that its 6000 series and future reader product lines are fully compatible with Aliro.
Importantly, this compatibility will not be limited to new hardware. Existing installed readers can be upgraded via firmware provided the hardware supports it allowing customers to adopt Aliro without requiring device replacement.
The functionality has already been developed and is being showcased to selected audiences, demonstrating the feasibility and readiness of the technology. LEGIC is still looking to collaborate with more lead customers to further validate and accelerate market adoption.
Initial availability is currently targeted for September at the earliest, depending on final development efforts and customer engagement. In parallel, LEGIC is also evaluating options around issuance and broader ecosystem integration, including potential extensions within its LEGIC Orbit platform.
