In KESO the vision – the vision that its founder, Ernst Keller, set about realizing at the age of 24.

He recognized that the inadequate security offered by locks at that time was a market opportunity. In the backyard of his father's hardware store, Ernst Keller began to produce keys which he had designed. The company grew quickly. With KESO's official founding in 1963, he began industrial production. Since then, through research and development, KESO AG has had an enormous influence on the state of technology in recent decades. KESO now owns over 330 patents.
