PAV is a well-established company with a rich tradition and employs about 250 staff members. Our wide range of experience and high-end technology allows us to offer a wide range of smart cards applications designed for identification purposes including personalization. We unify improvement with reliability and realize solutions, which gives you an advantage against your competition. Whether extra heat resistant and temper proof ID cards for the police department of Abu Dhabi or contactless cards in pyramid design for a hotel in Mexico – we accomplish new standards consistently.
Also, PAV provides many companies by developing and producing first samples. By producing your cards we work close with the RFID market leaders. All cards are produced in our full-automated German based production facility, which satisfy all ambitious security requirements. Since 2010 PAV is ISO/IEC 27001 certified. ISO/IEC 27001 formally specifies a management system that is intended to bring information security under explicit management control.
To maintain our edge for innovation, PAV has own R&D department. In this way we realized the development of an electronic inlay for biometric passports. Our epassport inlays made from polycarbonate or synthetic paper are suited for further processing in every standard passport production. The inlay from PAV is invisible integrated in the head envelope of the passport. The RFID technology makes it possible to read-out the data wireless. Therefore the electronic passport offers a highest level of protection against forgery. Today we serve seven European and two African countries with their ePassport inlays and several Asian countries with their eID cards.
