LEGIC’s Technology enables Apple Wallet Integration for Siemens Building X Security manager
Siemens introduced mobile credential integration with Apple Wallet in its Building X Security Manager. By Leveraging LEGIC’s advanced wallet credential technology, Siemens successfully created a seamless mobile access experience that prioritizes both convenience and security.

Challenge
Siemens recognize that physical keys and cards often lead to inefficiencies and user inconvenience.
They required a solution that would enhance security, elevate convenience and ensure scalability.
To turn this vision into a reality, Siemens partnered with LEGIC.
Solution
LEGIC’s platform provides high-level encryption and secure storage required for Apple Wallet integration. The solution easily integrates with Siemens existing infrastructure, making implementation swift while minimizing complexity. By integrating LEGIC Connect to securely create and distribute mobile credentials to smart devices, there’s no need to use physical IDs or remember passcodes. Siemens employees can simply tap their iPhone or Apple Watch for secure entry.
“By collaborating with Apple and LEGIC, our Building X customers can enhance their experience when entering buildings. They will benefit from a streamlined access method that feels as natural as using their device for payments, leveraging a familiar and intuitive interface,” said Rahul Chillar, Executive Vice President, Software, Siemens Smart Infrastructure Buildings. “We will also be using it for our own Siemens’ buildings.”
