Vintage meets IoT – a complete success

A few days ago, the Swiss security company LEGIC presented its innovative technology offerings at the embedded world in Nuremberg. As a focus of the appearance, there were two IoT-capable vintage arcade machines, which ensured a high number of visitors.

One more time, LEGIC Identsystems Ltd showed possibilities to implement their product and service portfolios for the secure identification and registration of devices and machines, as well as a one-of-a-kind authorization and data management. The modified arcade games ensured excitement and woke up the child in everyone.

Arcade games as a crowd magnet

The vintage arcade games, equipped with the most modern LEGIC ID technology, magically attracted people excited about technology and ensured that the trade fair stand was full. Numerous trade fair visitors let themselves be carried away by their enthusiasm for games and also placed bets. The fact that the IoT arcade games from the 1980’s could be operated with a BLE-capable smart phone or RFID smartcard instead of money made the gaming even more exciting.
LEGIC’s open technology platform as well as the high level of security for all of its products did not just win over existing customers, but also convinced potential new customers, so that some interesting projects materialized.
