Within the framework of OMNICARD 2013 in Berlin, Klaus Klosa, Managing Director of LEGIC Identsystems AG, explained the possibilities and challenges of NFC in contactless people identification: How can existing contactless card systems be transferred to NFC smartphones and what are the stumbling blocks?

Silone CardTech, based in the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, is focussed on producing smart cards, complemented by chip encoding and personalization equipment. This company is now an official license partner of LEGIC.

At the end of August 2012, LEGIC Identsystems Ltd, the leading provider of contactless people identification technology, presents the new LEGIC advant SM-4500 reader module and the new OS-4000 V2.0 firmware.
