The LEGIC cash standard is based on a LEGIC data structure (LEGIC cash segment) and standardises cashless payments, for example in staff canteens and other contactless payment systems.
It allows different partners to jointly operate a purse and the end user to choose between several providers. The LEGIC cash standard meets high security standards for contactless transactions.
The LEGIC access standard is based on an open LEGIC data structure (LEGIC access segment) and standardises people identification for access control and time & attendance in companies and institutions. It allows interoperability between the access control and time & attendance applications of different LEGIC partners and therefore simplifies the use of a common identification by different parties (multi-application).
Naturally, the above-mentioned applications provided by different system suppliers can be combined on one transponder.
